Funny you say that, I always thought so too, but as close as I can tell when I hear him say it it sounds like:

So-Mog-ee

How about this name: Traugott. I have heard about a million variations for Jeff's name.

I am neither !!!! No one could BE Beavis or BH could they - but then again, Ive never been to a Motorhead/Iron Maiden/Metallica show. I am sure they could have a contest with unlimited entrants.

I am just a huge fan of that kind of humor - the first time I saw the show was while on a business trip to the Chicago area years ago - I couldnt stop laughing for a week. When I came across the pic on a website the other dya I had to have it. Although its supposed to move, you know, a little headbanging, but I cant get it to do that for some reason. Any hints ???

Tony, That sounded realy bad, what I said. Please forgive my stupidity, of course you're neither of them . I'm sorry.

You mean like this

It has to be the right type of image.

Just right click on this image, at the bottom you'll see "properties", click on that and in the middle you'll see "address", you can highlight the address line and copy it. Now just paste that address into the address line in the avatar line in your profile. That should do it.
How about this name: Traugott
TRAW-got--I heard him pronounce it himself on a video.

How 'bout: "pow-fair-oh"; "boo-BIN-gah"; "coh-coh-BOH-loh"; "boh-KOH-tay"; "grah-nah-DEE-yoh"; "pah-DOOK"; "pah-loh-es-KREE-toh"; "WEN-gay"; "zih-rih-KOH-tay"?

I might be a bit off on a couple of these, but I spent many years as a public radio announcer, so I had to develop a pretty good grasp of pronunciation. I ain't no genius, though, so take it for what it's worth.

Here in the Ithaca area we have a waterfall (one of many amazing waterfalls around here, by the way) called Taughannock Falls. Try that one.
